Sidebar: Whenever I restart my MBP, Find my Mac checkbox is UNchecked in iCloud preferences.
The option is there to wake on Ethernet activity, so why shouldn't it 'just work'? I'm using a cable modem in bridge mode (standard residential DHCP - no, I don't want to pay for a static IP), with an Apple Airport Express. It can't be good for power consumption and my Mac. Leaving my home MBP on all day without sleeping is just not an option. Turn your Mac off (shut it down the safe way, closing apps beforehand) Turn it back on, immediately pressing the Option, Command, P, and R keys for 20 seconds Leave it for long enough that it would go to sleep (a period of inactivity) to make sure the sleep mode is working as it should. I do not want to uninstall Spotify because I have something like 1700 songs cached in offline playlists that I believe are deleted as part of your removal. If you don’t want this to happen, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then do one of the following. Either you find out the password first which has been set by default and lengthen the sleep timing to avoid the password entry every now and then or simply disable the password enquiry feature altogether so that you don’t need to enter any password at all. (Just a note that I tried a third party app which I could use on my iPhone (Presence) and got the same result.) Other users may be waking your Mac remotely to use its shared resources. I used another MBP on a different network to try B2MM. I set my MBP to go into screensaver but to 'never' sleep. I tried this while both Macs were in the same room so I knew what was happening.
